Parker Dority
Part-time Interpreting Services Manager
Parker Dority is a part-time manager of American Sign Language scheduling for Graham. Parker utilizes her decade long experience working as a professional interpreter to coordinate and staff interpreting requests. Parker studied American Sign Language and Interpreting at Austin Community College. She has done graduate work at John Hopkins University in Early Childhood Education and has recently completed a Master of Data Analytics at the Kogod School of Business of American University. She also holds a Bachelor Degree from Florida State University in Creative Writing. Parker has worked as both an American Sign Language Interpreter and Kindergarten Teacher. Drawing on her background and passion for working with students, Parker has interpreted extensively in educational settings and has scheduled interpreting for K-12 all throughout the state of Virginia and DC. When Parker is not working, she spends time with her spouse and two small children in the DMV area. Parker’s hobbies include the fiber and textile arts such as crocheting and quilting.
